Rotating a Normal Map rotates entire light direction

      Description

      Take texture: 1462ba53-8e96-d4eb-0a79-fb5c2deae1c2 and slap it on a normal map of a face with a light shining on it. now, rotate it 180 degrees, watch what happens.

      This isn't acceptable.

      Let's say I got a diffuse, specular, and normal map all custom designed for something.

      Now let's say I rotate the texture with other transformations. I need to rotate them all to stay synced up, but as I rotate the normal map, it starts catching light from the wrong angles.

      Exists in mainline and is likely endemic to all viewers.
