      Description

Fitted mesh avatars are all the rage now. Most of them share U/V maps with the SL avatar, and are thus compatible with system skin textures and clothing textures. While originally, each manufacturer had their own appliers for recycling old skin and clothing textures into clothes for their avatars, there is now a standard applier, call the Omega applier, which has support for most of the fitted mesh avatars out there.

System wearable clothes consist of a texture and a wrapper that tells the clothing layer how to deform itself.

Many classic system clothes makers are defunct, or won't make appliers.

      Therefore:

I propose a feature where users can wear system clothes onto their mesh avatars via the Omega applier mechanism. It would be even better if there was a way to transfer the baked texture from the system av to the mesh av via the omega mechanism.
